Flaws don’t exist. People don’t have flaws, they have differences. The only reason that is a problem is because society dictates that one way of being is more superior than another. You know what that means? Society is the problemn, not you.
This is why we need to stop using the word “flaw” in relation to our body.
Flaw (noun): A mark, blemish or imperfection that mars a substance or object.
See, flaw is not the right word because whatever mark, blemish or imperfection you are thinking of doesn’t mar a substance (your soul/personality) or an object (your body), it adds to it. There is no devaluation, it is simply an embellishment.
Hmm?! Maybe ‘imperfection’ is the word you are looking for?
Imperfection (noun): A fault or undesirable feature.
Nope! That’s not right either, there is NOTHING about you that is undesirable.
Here’s what I do know, a perfect body is a body that works.
What does that mean? What does it have to do for it work? Allow you to run, jump, skip or swim? NO!! For it to work, it has to do one thing: keep you breathing. Does it do that? Great! There you have it a perfect body.
