Female Competitiveness and Jealousy

February 2, 2017

“Why can’t I be like that?”
“Why aren’t I as accomplished as she is?”
“I’m clearly not as smart, focused, determined, ambitious enough”
“I wish I had her job”
“I wish I had her life”

Why do we use other people’s success as an opportunity to destroy our own self esteem? It’s self abuse and it is so cruel and unkind so please stop doing it – you deserve better than that!

Someone else’s success is not to your detriment.
Someone else’s happiness will not cost you any of your own.

Stop using other women’s accomplishments as a reason to self-abuse
